Shannon has worked in the publishing industry for over 20 years.  She has enjoyed sharing her knowledge of the industry as a speaker, consultant and design judge for the past 15 years. Shannon has a reputation for outstanding service and award-winning design.  She specializes in full service design for publishers and authors of all sizes: from book covers and interior layout, to ebooks, websites, print and online marketing, social media and branding. She has focus in multi-media and utilizing digital methods for greener publishing.

A native Oregonian, Shannon spends her time away from the computer surrounded by nature and her favorite color . . . any shade of green.

With over 20 years of experience in the design field, Bob Swingle brings a wide range of skills to the BookWise team. He joined in 1999 and became partner in 2003. He consults on creative for web development, photography and emerging technologies in social media.

Bob is another Oregon native and enjoys time outdoors: running, hiking and nature photography are at the top of his list.

Jann Armstrong joined us as Project Manager in 2011.  Jann was formally trained in landscape and architectural design and worked as a designer for the U. S. Forest Service for 31 years.  She has a strong background in project development, design, and implementation. Retired now from that career, but not interested in slowing down entirely, she finds the creative design process at BookWise exciting and challenging.
